There will be a meeting of the AZ Soaring InterestGroup in Mesa this Wednesday, Mar 29 at 6:00 PM. It should be very interesting. We have a retired air traffic controller who will talk with us about what we should be doing when in or around their airspace. Most of us are intimidated in communicating with a tower. However it would be wise to communicate with them to let them know what our intentions are so we can avoid interfering with their operations.

The printed and embroidered shirts having our logo have arrived and those that have not been promised to organizers will be available to purchase at or below cost. ($10 for the printed shirts T-shirts and $15 for the embroidered golf shirts). They look better than I could have imagined.
