The next dinner meeting of our Arizona Soaring Interest Group will be from 6:00 PM to ~8:30 PM on Wednesday, April 27th at La Famiglia Restaurant. The discussion topic will involve setting a tasks and loading it on the Oudie flight computer that most of us are using. We will have Paul Remde of Cumulus Soaring joining us by Skype. Pete Rendek will be showing us how he is using the new weather forecasting feature of SeeYou (Top Medeo). This should be one of our best meetings.

Naviter has been busy with updates so that some of the published instructions may now be obsolete or confusing. The SeeYou Mobile and PC programs are powerful tools and have many options and several ways to do things. Many of us have found ourselves frustrated doing basic things. It will be our objective to help you be able to use SeeYou and to answer your questions.

I have some points I have learned about the doing tasks and moving file on and off the Oudie that I am including with this message. Pete Rendek has been using the new Top Meteo addition and will be sharing what he knows about using this soaring forecasting tool.

Paul Remde has already started his assistance by providing us with two links. One link is to his Oudie Tips http://www.cumulus-soaring.com/seeyou/Oudie-Tips.pdf that you should view before the meeting to get the most out of our training on Wednesday night. The other is helpful documents that are available here: http://www.cumulus-soaring.com/seeyou.htm#Downloads

Please RSVP your plans to attend so that the restaurant can set the room up appropriately. Respond to Lee (lmurray002@new.rr.com) or to Pete Rendek (prendek@cox.net). As always, come anyway if you find you can attend at the last minute.

The La Famiglia Restaurant is at 1859 W. Guadalupe Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202 You can peek at the menu at: http://www.lafamigliapizzanpasta.net/menu.html
